Diane Lucille (Schirmers) Lehn
June 22, 1937 — June 3, 2016
Diane Lucille (Schirmers) Lehn, 78, peacefully entered the Lord's embrace on June 3, 2016 with her loved ones by her side.
She is preceded in death by her parents Leo and Mary Cecilia Schirmers, her brother Jerry, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Diane will be greatly missed by her husband Gerald (Jerry), her brother Doug (Pat) and her children, Gregory (Michele), Michelle (Joe) Bender, Jeffrey (Tracy), Patrick (Debra) and Eric (Sara). Diane also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Throughout her life Diane was active in her local Lion's clubs, her churches and other local service organizations. Her devotion to service touched the lives of each person she came in contact with. She will be remembered by her family, friends and communities for her strength, compassion and service.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Thursday, June 9, 2016 at St. Emily's Catholic Church. Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until the time of the service. Memorials are preferred to St. Emily's Church Vision Fund or Immaculate Heart Church Haiti Mission. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
