Donald "Dale" Anderson

Donald “Dale” Anderson age 87 of Crosby at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby on November 7, 2016. He was born in Wadena on June 27, 1929 to Henning and Rachel (Anderson) Anderson. He married Evelyn Burnside on June 27, 1949 in Brainerd. Dale was an employee of McDonald Construction of Brainerd for 20 + years and Lakes Area Asphalt of Brainerd for 15 years. Dale was a member of the IUOE Local 49.
Dale is survived by two sons, Duane (Barb) Anderson of Crosby and David “Buzzy” (Debbie) Anderson of Ironton; one daughter, Sharon (Lee) Chambers of Remer; one sister, Shirley (Beryl) Foote of Crosby; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Preceding Dale in death are his parents; wife, Evelyn “Evie” and one son, Donald “Smokey” Anderson Jr.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Heartwood Senior Living in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby on Saturday at 10:00 am. Visitation will be from 10:30 until the time of the service at Heartwood. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
