Donald Carl Kleman age 89 of Remer died on June 18, 2016 at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center. He was born on August 8, 1926 in Minneapolis to Carl and Sophie (Erickson) Kleman. Don married Elsie Schoeck on June 26, 1948 in Renville. Don is survived by his wife of 68 years, Elsie; two sons, Bradley Kleman of Bozeman, MT and Thomas Kleman of Remer; one daughter, Donelle (Gary) Kortemeier of Oak Grove; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Preceding Don in death are his parents and six siblings. A memorial service will be held 1 pm on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the United Methodist Church in Emily with military honors presented by the Longville VFW post 772. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
