Doris Irene Tollakson

Doris Irene (Eilers) Tollakson of Crosby died December 22, 2014 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center at the age of 90. She was born to Richard and Cynthia (Fricka) Eilers on June 22, 1924 in Canby, MN. She married Maynard Tollakson on October 25, 1940 in Madison, MN. Doris and Maynard lived in Canby and owned and operated the Midway CafAC. for 47 years. After retiring in November of 1994 they moved to Crosby, MN to be with their family.
Honored to have shared her life are her daughter, Sharon (Chuck) Braff; 5 grandchildren, Bill (Arlene) Haukos, Lisa (Conrad) Stangel, Craig (Tammy) Haukos, Troy (Tammy) Haukos, and Richard (Becky) Haukos; 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Maynard; sister, Dorothy Lindberg; brother, Leonard Eilers; and son-in-law, Marvin Haukos.
Funeral services will be 1:30 pm on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Assembly of God Church in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
