Dorothy Eleanor Fogarty

Dorothy E. Fogarty, age 86 of Fifty Lakes died at her home on June 17, 2021.  She was born in Minneapolis on May 30, 1935 to John and Josephine (Larson) Wyttenbach.  Dorothy married Gerald Fogarty on May 26, 1956 in Minneapolis.

Dorothy is survived by her husband of 65 years, Gerald; three sons, Johnnie (LuAnna) Fogarty of East Bethel, James (Linda) Fogarty of Ocala, FL and Patrick (Kari) Fogarty of Chaska; one sister, Janice Torrini of Eagan; and five grandchildren, Benjamin Fogarty, Samuel Fogarty, Jacob Fogarty, Kayla Fogarty and Payton Fogarty.

Preceding Dorothy in death are her parents, and two sisters, Leetta Wells and Doris Larson.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at the Mount Hope Lutheran Church in Bloomington (3601 W Old Shakopee Road).  Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis at 1:00 p.m.  A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
