Dorothy Mae Miller

Dorothy Mae Miller age 93 of Outing died on August 31, 2015 at the Essentia St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. She was born on October 15, 1921 in Pleasant Lake, ND to Ashley and Emma (Lee) Cline. Dorothy moved to the Outing area in October of 2014 from Rugby, ND to be with her daughter. Dorothy worked at Cora's Dress Shop and Myhre's Fashions for 27 years. She volunteered at the Heart of America Medical Center as a greeter, volunteering over 1500 hours. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Emmanuel United Church of Rugby.
Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Linda Modrow of Outing and Sandra Jacobson of Balta, ND; three grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Warren Miller.
Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband, Glenn, one grandson, Michael Modrow, three sisters, Eva Frydenlund, Frances Wappes, Alice Rogelstad and 1 brother, Raymond Cline.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at the Wesleyan Church in Emily. Burial will be at the Persilla Watts Cemetery in Rugby, ND. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Sunday.
