Edgar Lee Evans

Edgar L. “Butch” Evans age 77 of Outing died at his home on February 16, 2018. He was born on May 14, 1940 in Grosse Pointe, MI to Ira and Martha (App) Evans. Butch was a retired engineer with 3M with 32 years of service. He was the first chairman of the Invasive Species Committee of Roosevelt Lake and served as treasurer of the Outing Volunteer Library.
Butch is survived by his wife, Jackie; one son, Matthew (Katherine) Evans of Plano, TX; one daughter, Lisabeth (Frank) Mackall of Cottage Grove; one brother, James (Barbara) Evans of Grosse Pointe, MI; one sister, Judith Sieger of West Hartford, CT; and five grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
No services are being held. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
