Edward Stephen “Eddo” Thomas age 93 of Amery, WI formerly of Deerwood died on March 12, 2014 at the Willow Ridge Health Care Center in Amery, WI. Ed was born on January 7, 1921 in Crosby to Edward and Katherine (Stimac) Thomas. He was a retired employee of Inland Steel with 30 years of service. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crosby.
Survivors include 1 son, Steve (Cassie) Thomas of Iron Mountain, MI; 3 daughters,
Joan (Cliff) Swenson of Dresser, WI, Janet (Dennis) Yackle of Gaastra, MI, and
Barbara Sundquist of Rochester; 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are his parents; 3 brothers, Jack, Mike and John Thomas; 4 sisters, Mary Thomas, Ann Stefano, Eva Sklasz and Donna Gross.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby.
Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
