Edward L. Novak age 88 of Union City, CA died on April 16, 2016 at his home. He was born on November 16, 1927 in Egypt, Pennsylvania. Ed is survived by his wife, Donna; two sons, Mathew (Melanie) Novak and Eddie Novak; one daughter, Kim (Jess) Dysert; one sister, Irene Novak; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Preceding Ed in death are his parents, one son, Patrick; two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at St. Emily's Catholic Church in Emily. Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily with full military honors given by the Myrin-James American Legion Post #443 of Ironton. Friends may call on Wednesday one hour prior to the services at the church. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
