Elizabeth Jean "Betty" Lund age 69 of Emily died on July 22, 2013 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. She was born on February 4, 1944 in Outing to Joseph and Veronica (Kertzman) Katzenberger. She married Roger "Buddy" Lund on September 16, 1961. Betty was a retired 3M employee with 25 years of service. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Roger "Buddy"; 2 sons, Kenneth Lund of Roy Washington and Keith Lund of Corbett, Oregon; 1 daughter, Brenda Jerue of St. Paul; 4 brothers, Louie (Pat) Katzenberger of Soldotna Alaska, William Katzenberger of Phoenix, AZ, Mike (LaVonne) Katzenberger of Souix Falls, SD and Frank (Kathi) Katzenberger of Harpers Ferry, W. VA; 2 sisters, Leona Bjerkness of Hastings and Joanne Girard of St. Louis Park; three grandchildren, Bobby, Beau, and Blake Jerue. Preceding her in death are her parents; 2 brothers, Martin and Kenny Katzenberger; and 1 granddaughter, Brianna Jerue. Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday, July 27, 2013 at St. Emily's Catholic Church in Emily. Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily. Friends may call on Friday at the Koop Funeral Home from 4 to 8 pm with a prayer services 7 pm. and also 1 hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
