Elizabeth Mary Lang

Elizabeth Mary “Betsy” Jahr-Lang, peacefully passed to heaven on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the age of 90 years. She was born September 05,1934 in St. Paul, MN to Lily (Harris) & Orlando Jahr. She graduated from the Harding H.S. in 1952, married Donald Lang on Aug 29, 1953, bought their 1st home in 1961 in Oakdale, MN, where they lived 40 years and raised 4 children. Betsy worked at 3M Company for 25 years before retiring to Island Lake, MN. After Don’s passing, she moved to Maplewood, MN where she lived until her diminishing health brought her to live under the care of her daughter Jody and son-in-law Bill at their home in Deerwood, MN.

Loved ones that cleared the path are husband Don, Son Mike, Siblings: Dick, Kenny, Wally, Grace & Nancy.

She is survived by her sister, Mabel Beane (Ray); daughters, Jody Bunio (Bill), & Kim Johnson; daughter-in-law, Shelly; 3 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life/Afternoon Tea will be held at Sgt. Pepper’s Bar and Grill (930 Helena Ave. N., Oakdale, MN 55128) on Wed. Sept. 25, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
