 
            Elwood Burton "Son" Huntley age 98 of Crosby died at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. He was born on November 14, 1913 in Crosby. He married Phern Wood on September 12, 1940 in Crosby. Son was employed with 50 years of service to Evergreen Mining, M.A. Hanna Mining and Lytle and Green Mining in Alaska, Zontelli Brothers and then Pittsburg Pacific. Son was also a former bus driver for the Riverton School District. Survivors include 2 sons, Joel (Mary) Huntley and Tom (Mary Jo) Huntley all of Crosby; 1 daughter, Joan (Enno) Limvere of Crosslake; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Preceding him in death are his parents, his wife Phern; 3 brothers, Vernon, Robert and Jack Huntley; and 4 sisters, Georgia Johnson, Helen McGuirk, Lorraine Bowman and Betty Sipper. Funeral services will be 1 pm on Thursday at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Friends may call on Thursday 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
