Emily Catherine Bierman age 97 of Crosby died on April 18, 2916 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. She was born on January 8, 1919 in Marshall, MO to Henry and Ethel (Wood) Scudder Sr.. Emily was a member and former organist at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Deerwood. Emily is survived by two sons, Danny (Katherine) Garceau of Shreveport, LA and Philip (Denise) Garceau of St. Cloud; two daughters, Shirley (Doug) Bierman of Boise, Idaho and Mary (Todd) Roesler of Caledonia; Thirteen grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. Emily is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Bierman; two sons, David and Terry Garceau; one brother, Henry Scudder Jr. and one grandson, Mark Garceau. Funeral services will be 1 pm on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Deerwood. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church on Thursday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
