Esther M. Olson age 92 of Crosby formerly of Edmonds, WA died on July 31, 2012 at Heartwood Senior Living in Crosby. She was born on May 2, 1920 in Ironton to August and Johanna (Johnson) Olson. Survivors include 1 nephew, Howard Olson of Deerwood, MN; 2 nieces, Jennifer Olson of Iowa City, IA and Linda (Mike) Moran of Brainerd, MN; long time friend, Luverne Swanson of Minneapolis, MN; and sister-in-law, Yvonne Olson of Deerwood, MN; and 4 great nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents; 2 sisters, Ingrid and Ruth Olson; 1 brother, Arthur E. Olson and long time friend Paul Happold. No services are being held. A grateful thank you to her personal assistant and care givers in both Edmonds, Washington and the Cuyuna Range in Minnesota. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral in Crosby.
