Eugene Everett Sander

Eugene E Sander, age 87, of Bay Lake passed away May 22, 2015. Born on September 12, 1927 on the home farm to Franklin and Lena (Mueller) Sander, he was a life long resident of Bay Lake Township. He was a builder, craftsman, one of the founders of the Sander Bros Builders Co. and a charter member of the Garrison Alliance Church. He married Grace Rardin on May 12, 1949 in Motley, MN.
Survivors include 1 son, Ron (Becky) Sander of Bay Lake; 2 daughters, Mary (Robert) Scott of Brainerd and Linda (Steven) Pyle of Cleveland, Ohio; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are his parents; his wife Grace; 4 sisters, Pearl Ulm, Vernie Horgan, Florence Sander and Sally Ose; 7 brothers, Ortwin, Erwin, Edwin, Freeman, Cecil, Archie, and Clarence Sander.
Funeral services will be 11am Saturday, May 30, 2015, at the Garrison Community Church in Garrison. Burial will be at the Bay Lake Cemetery in Bay Lake Township.
Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
