Evelyn Anderson

Evelyn R. Anderson age 83 of Irondale Township died on May 6, 2014 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. She was born on February 2, 1931 in Worthington, MN to William and Rose (Wagner) Burnside. She married Donald Dale Anderson on June 27, 1949 in Brainerd. Evelyn was a former nursing assistant at both the Aitkin and Crosby Hospitals. She then retired from Ruttger's Bay Lake Lodge where she was in housekeeping.
Evelyn is survived by her husband Dale; 2 sons, Duane (Barb) Anderson of Crosby and David (Debbie) Anderson of Ironton; 1 daughter, Sharon (Lee) Chambers of Remer; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents and 1 son Donald Anderson Jr.
Graveside services will be held 11am on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. A Celebration of Life reception will follow at Heartwood Senior Living in Crosby at noon. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
