Evelyn “Evie” Elizabeth Sheets age 94 of Crosby died at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. She was born on September 8, 1919 in Crosby to Leonard and Eva (Wiaderko) Luby. Evie was a member of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crosby; National Catholic Society of Foresters, St. Mary’s Court 854; and the Cuyuna Range Heritage Network.
Suvivors include 1 son, Greg Sheets of Champlin; 1 sister, Helen Whitels of New Britian Conn; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, Paul; 1 brother, Ed Luby and 1 sister, Mary Morin.
Funeral services will be 11 am on Friday, March 28, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Friday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
