Fern Arlene Deshayes

Fern Arlene Deshayes age 94 of Emily died on April 26, 2018 at her daughter’s home in Superior, WI. She was born on April 5, 1924 in Emily to George and Mary (Hite) Lingwall.

Fern was a retired cook for the Emily school.  She was a member of St. Emily’s Catholic Church, the Pine River Art Club and a former member of the Jack Pine Promenadors Square Dance Club.

Fern is survived by two daughters, Susan (Richard) Fabini of Duluth and Robyn (Michael) Deshayes-Kendall of Superior, WI; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Preceding Fern in death are her parents; her husband, Arthur in 1999 and two brothers, David and LeRoy Lingwall.

A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at St. Emily’s Catholic Church in Emily. Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
