Franklin John Skweres

Frank John Skweres age 84 of Outing died on August 8, 2016 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. He was born on December 4, 1931 in St. Paul to Maximillian and Tillie (Wawrzyniak) Skweres.
Frank was a retired employee of the Minnesota Department of Transportation with 30 years of service. He was a US Army veteran serving in the Korean War. He was a former Beulah Township Board Supervisor. Frank was a member of St. Emily's Catholic Church in Emily and the Crosslake Legion Post #500.
Frank is survived by one brother, Richard (Patricia) Skweres of Star Prairie, WI; two sisters, Maxine Haekenkamp of Winsted and Diane Olds of Outing; and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at St. Emily's Catholic Church in Emily with military honors presented by the Crosslake American Legion Post #500. Burial will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
