Gary L. Nichols

Gary L. Nichols age 60 of Nokay Lake Township died on February 22, 2019 at his home.  He was born in Brainerd, Minnesota to Lyle and Betty (Johnson) Nichols.  Gary attended schools in Pine River, Brainerd, Deerwood and Crosby.  In the late 70’s he worked construction for the pipe line in Texas.  Gary had a love for woodworking.  He owned and operated N & H Builders of Brainerd.

Gary is survived by his father, Lyle Nichols of Aitkin; one son, Tyler Snook of Fargo, ND; one brother, Greg Nichols of Brainerd and one sister, Cindy Dorr of Bemidji; a special cousin, Doug Johnson of Brainerd; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Gary is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Nichols.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Saturday.
