 
            
Gary LeRoy Olander age 68 of Wolford Township died at his home on March 14, 2014. He was born in Perry Lake Township on November 26, 1945 to Olaf and Elda (Foote) Olander. Gary married Wendy Ann LaSart on November 28, 1971 in Crosby. He was a retired Teamster, Duluth Local 326.
Survivors include his wife Wendy; 3 sons, Kent Olander of Mililani, Hawaii, Kirk (Mary Lou) Olander of Elk River and Kale (Danielle Thiebault) Olander of Ironton; 4 daughters, Karla (Todd) Hanson of Brainerd, Sherry (John) Klick of Andover, Kerry (Joe) Brabbit of Maplewood and Kelly (Jason) Erickson of Deerwood; 1 brother,
Frank (Colleen) Olander of Crosby; 3 sisters, Janice (Ray) Moritz of Crosby, Mary Mays of Bemidji and Jennifer (Don) Bock of Bemidji; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are his parents; 2 brothers, Merle and Christ Olander; and 2 sisters, Phyllis LaBorde and Jeanette Olander.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby. Burial will be at the Mission Cemetery in Mission Township. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby and 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Thursday
