George Edwin Hardy

George Edwin Hardy, age 78 of Crosby passed away at St. Cloud VA Medical Center on January 29, 2025.  He was born on March 3, 1946 in Brainerd to Lyman and Dora (Wilmot) Hardy.

George served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years with two deployments to Vietnam.  He was a member of the Myrin-James American Legion in Ironton.  George was an avid hunter and fisherman.

George is survived by his sister, Judy McKanna of Crosby and his Significant other, Paula Kowalke of Crosby and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding George in death are his parents; one sister, Phyllis Martin; one brother, Howard Hardy and niece Amber McKanna.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the Myrin-James American Legion Post in Ironton from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. with sharing of memories at 3:30 p.m.

Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
