Gerald G. “Jerry” Berry age 80 of Outing died at his home on December 9, 2016. He was born on November 22, 1936 in Minneapolis to Gerald O. and Carol (Jensen) Berry. Jerry married Mavis Chenevert on July 14, 1956 in Minneapolis.
Jerry is survived by his wife Mavis; Three sons, Gary (June) Berry of Shorewood, Gregory E. Berry of Outing and Gerald A. (Landa) Berry of Elk River; two daughters, Cynthia (Keith) Maloney of Eveleth and Vicki (Frank) Kramer of Scottsdale, AZ; two brothers, Marvin Berry of Outing and Marlin (Jean) Berry of Apple Valley; five sisters, Jeanette Fairbanks of Outing, Barbara Bottineau of Anoka, Colleen Sabin of Spring Lake Park, Beverly Ellingson of St. Michael and Darla (Kevin) Carlson of Plymouth; fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
Preceding Jerry in death are his parents, and a grandson, Michael Gregory Berry.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Crooked Lake Town Hall, 6300 Woods Bay Drive, Outing from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
