Gerald L. Nordquist age 74 of Longville died on June 4, 2015 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. He was born on March 20, 1941 in Minneapolis to Thoeodore O. and Iantha A. (Latham) Nordquist. Gerald was a member of the Pipe Fitters Local 539, Minneapolis.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years Judy; 1 daughter, Jodi (Kevin) Markuson of Champlain, 2 sons, Jay (Sue) Nordquist of Ramsey and Judd (Melissa) Nordquist of Deephaven; 1 brother, Lowell "Lars" Nordquist of Maple Grove; 2 sisters, Lois Burton of Brooklyn Park and Marlene Genung of Little Canada; 7 seven grandchildren, Justin Markuson, Kayla Markuson, Jacob Nordquist, Zachary Nordquist, Maxwell Nordquist, Madison Nordquist and Natalie Nordquist.
Graveside services will be 10:30 am on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery (Assembly Area 4). A celebration of life will be held following the service. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
