Grace Sander
April 26, 1927 — February 4, 2014
Grace Sander of the Bay Lake area passed away on February 8, 2014. Born on April 26, 1927, in Maple Grove Township to Floyd and Esther (Phillips) Rardin, she was a life long area resident.
A wonderful wife, mom and grandma, she was known for her quietness and laughter. She was a great homemaker, loved to bake, and enjoyed crafts, embroidery, and crocheting which she shared with many. She lived her Christian faith in her lifelong service to others.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Gene; three children, Mary, (Robert) Scott of Brainerd, Ron (Becky) Sander of Bay Lake and Linda (Steven) Pyle of Cleveland, OH; sister, Carin (Richard) Hazuka of Motley; sister-in-law, Mary Rardin of Pensacola, FL; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents and 1 brother, Phillip Rardin.
Funeral services will be 11 am on Saturday, February 15, 2014, at the Garrison Community Alliance Church. Burial will be at the Bay Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
