Harold E. "Skip" Lundgren

December 5, 1928 — September 30, 2016

Harold E. "Skip" Lundgren age 87 of Ironton died at his home on September 30, 2016. He was born on December 5, 1928 in Crosby to Carl and Harriet (LaSart) Lundgren. Skip was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a former miner with M.A. Hanna and Reserve Mining Companies. He was a janitor at the Crosby-Ironton School District and an employee of the City of Crosby Maintenance Department.

Skip is survived by two sons, Jim (Shelley) Lundgren of Ironton and Michael Lundgren of Cuyuna; one daughter, Carol (Randy) Bartell of Richmond; nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren; and close friend, Edythe Anderson.

Preceding Skip in death are his parents and one son, Robert Lundgren.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby from 3 to 5:00 pm. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby with full military honors given by the Myrin-James American Legion Post #443 of Ironton.
