Hazel Linnea Monson

Hazel Linnea Monson age 94 of Princeton, formerly of Riverton died at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale. She born on April 7, 1918 in Crosby to Vernon and Emmy (Storefelt) Johnson. Hazel was a longtime resident of Riverton. Survivors include 2 sons, Don (Kathy) Monson of Elk River, Rocky (Maxine) Monson of Becker; 4 daughters, Judy Duffy of Industry, PA, Terri (Roger) Wig of S. St. Paul, Gail (Wayne) Lyman of Princeton and Linnea Monson of Ironton; 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband Alfred "Fritz"; 3 sons, William, Merle and infant Vernon Monson; 1 brother, Warren Johnson and 1 sister, Irene Gardner. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Koop Funeral Home from 1 to 3 pm.
