Helen Louise Etzler

Helen Etzler, age 97 of Crosby died on March 6, 2021 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby.  She was born on August 15, 1923 in Bay Lake Township to Frank and Katherine (Looman) Etzler.  Helen was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crosby.

Helen is survived by one daughter, Donna Sapa of Deerwood; three grandchildren, Barbara (Troy) Reyes of Mound, Brenda Sapa of Big Lake and Michael Sapa of Princeton; three great-grandchildren, Miles, Zachary and Brittany Reyes of Mound.

Preceding Helen in death are her parents; four brothers, Bob, Ben, Jim and Clarence Etzler; and five sisters, Gertrude Darling, Cecilia Seavey, Eleanor Bath, Melva Sarrie and Alice Johnson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.  Burial will be at the Bay Lake Cemetery.  A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
