Henrietta Cecilia Pribyl

Henrietta Cecilia Pribyl age 87 of Crosby died on May 16, 2016 at St. Benedicts Senior Living in St. Cloud. She was born on November 22, 1928 in Freeport, MN to Henry and Katharina (Euteneuer) Suek. She married Ernest Pribyl Jr. on June 2, 1956 in Holdingford, MN.

Henrietta graduated from the Holdingford High School, Class of 1946, received and undergraduate degree in Education from St. Cloud State and a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities Campus. Her career in teaching spanned more than 35 years in the Crosby-Ironton School District.

Henrietta was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Crosby, the CCW and the Society of Catholic Foresters, St. Mary's Court #854; the Cuyuna Range Women's Club; and the Crosby-Ironton Garden Club.

Survivors include one son, Joseph (Jane) Pribyl of Shoreview; two daughters, Anita (Peter) Anderson of Aitkin and Katherine (Kevin) Pribyl-Stromberg of Aitkin; one sister, Rita Mettenburg of St. Cloud; ten grandchildren and Thirteen great grandchildren.

Henrietta was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ernie; one son, John; four brothers, Alphonse, Sylvester, Leander and Innocent Suek; four sisters, Lidwina Buchwald, Leona Achmann, Radegundis Clear and Sr. (Zita) Engelbert Suek, OSB.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Friday, May 20, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Friday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
