Howard Emil Anderson, former Crosby resident, Merchant Marine, Chimney Sweep and Entrepenuer, age 57 of Chippewa Falls, WI died on March 16, 2013 at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire WI. He was born on November 14, 1955 in Minneapolis to George and Bonnie (Emmert) Anderson. He married Kathleen Chitwood on July 1, 2006 in Beloit, WI. Survivors include his wife, Kate; 3 sons, Howard Emil Anderson II of Merrifield, Kristofer William Wood of Brodhead, WI, Aaron Alan Wood of Beloit, WI; 3 daughters, BobbiJo Chitwood of Las Vegas, Barbara Jean Anderson of Garner, IA and Emily Jo Anderson of Riverton; 1 brother, George Anderson of Brainerd and 2 sisters, Mabel (Dwight) Semler of Deerwood and Audrey (John) Roggenkamp of Brainerd and 6 grandchildren. Preceding him in death are his father; 1 brother, Bruce Anderson; 1 sister Barbara Jean; maternal grandparents, Howard and Louise Emmert. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm on Friday, March 22, 2013 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Burial will be at the Woodland Cemetery in Irondale Township. Friends may call on Friday 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
