Howard LaMont Jr. age 73 of Emily died on June 7, 2013 at his home. He was born on October 28,1939 in Blue Earth to Howard and Catherine (Schwab) LaMont. He was a US army veteran. He was a former school bus driver for the Crosby-Ironton School District. He is survived by his life partner, Carol Burdick; 1 daughter, Stephanie Vannatter of Fairmont 1 stepson, Adam Burdick of Waite Park; 1 brother, Wayne (Alice) LaMont of Buffalo Center, IA; 1 sister, Joyce (Bob) Berndt of Blue Earth; 7 step grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents, wife Shirley and 1 sister Margaret Busch. Private services are being held. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
