Huck Durant

Huck Durant age 60 of Ironton died on November 20th, 2011 in Ray, ND. He was born on December 18, 1950 in White Earth, MN to Charles and Rosella (Norely) Durant. He married Sharon Lee Sletten on January 11, 1969 in Sisseton, SD. Huck was currently working in Williston as a truck driver. He was a former employee at the Grand Casino, Anderson Brothers, Irondale Township and Durant Logging. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed time with his kids, grandchildren and nephews. He is survived by his wife Sharon; son, Robert of Crosby; 2 daughters, Lisa (Brian) Mealhouse of Clear Lake, Tami (Neil) Durant-West of Crosby; 2 brothers, Wayne Durant of Brainerd and Verne Durant of St. Cloud; 2 sisters, Lorraine (Marv) Millam of Brainerd and Marlys (Buddy) Merschman of Shevlin; 3 grandchildren, Ashley, Bradly and Cameron. Preceding him in death are his parents. Friends may call at the Koop Funeral Home on Friday, November 25, 2011 from 4 to 8 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm . A Graveside service will be 1 pm on Saturday at the Minerva Township Cemetery in Bagley.
