Iona Bertha O’Brien age 77 of Crosby died on April 30, 2014 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. She was born on November 25, 1936 in Crosby to Emil and
Alta (Cuff) Rono.
Survivors include 1 son, Danny Parks of Deerwood; 4 daughters, Jan Robinson of Crosby, Rita (Ron) Parks-Volgerson of Palisade, Wanda Csargo of Crosby and Tracy (Raymond) Lucksinger of Brainerd; 1 brother, Howard (Zeta) Rono of Crosby, 3 sisters, Florence (Jim) LeBlanc of Crosby, Betty Banks of Wahkon and Phyllis Janette Saumiar of Hanna WY; Seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents; 1st husband, Nathan Parks, 2nd husband, Frank J. O’Brien; 1 son, Dale Parks; 4 sisters, Elnora Clemens, Gerrie Booth, Helen
Hockstra and Margaret George; and 2 brothers, Harley and Thomas Rono.
Graveside services will be held 11 am on Friday, May 9, 2014 at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
