Irene Laughton

Irene Josephine Laughton age 80 of Deerwood died February 16, 2013 at her home. She was born in Kasota, Minnesota on August 14th, 1932 to William and Mary (Denker) Parsons. She is a retired housekeeper at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center, with 25 years of service. Irene is survived by one son William (Kathy) Laughton of Crosby, four daughters Rose Isler of Crosby, Patsy (Robert) Thomas of Crosby, Susanna (Sonny) Vukelich of Deerwood, and Peggy (Michael) Roubinek of Ironton; two sisters Marian Wynn of Fairfield, California and Betty (Dick) Buhlmann of Aitkin; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, one son Allen Parsons, husband Pete Laughton, one grandson Steven J. Roubinek, five brothers and two sister. Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Koop Funeral Home, Crosby. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
