Jacquelyn Gordon
March 30, 1937 — February 24, 2013
Jacquelyn (Jackie) Arlys Gordon, Age 75 Died Sunday, February 24th, 2013 at her Deerwood home surrounded by loving family, after a 5A½ year battle with ovarian cancer. She was born March 30th, 1937 at home in Ironton, Minnesota to Gustav and Anna (Lapp) Beseman. She married Curtis Gordon on March 27th 1954 in Aitkin, MN.
Jackie will be missed and fondly remembered by her husband Curt of 59 years; two sons, Bill (Sue) Gordon of Crosby, MN and Curt Gordon of Bloomington, IL; two daughters Julie (Bill) Laborde of Crosby, MN and Lori Nissen of Blaine, MN; six grandchildren, Jennifer Gordon, Jesse Gordon, Brittany Gordon, Christina Girke, Heather Nissen and Jacquel Nissen; Great grandson Landon Girke; special niece Shelly Beseman and great nephew Taylor Scheidenberger; two brothers Merlin (Marion) Beseman and Daniel (Dee) Beseman; two sisters Laverne Holmvig and special little sister Margaret Beseman; many treasured nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Joyce Wilford, brother-in-law Stan Holmvig and beloved great grandson Grayson Girke.
A Celebration of Jackie's Life will be 11 am on Friday, March 1, 2013 at Salem Lutheran Church in Deerwood. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at the Koop Funeral Home, Crosby and 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Friday.
