Jacquelyn Middleton

April 12, 1952 — May 12, 2011

Jackie J. Middleton (Schmith)

of North Oaks (St. Paul), MN passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on May 12th, 2011 at the age of 59. Our sweet Jackie lost her battle with cancer after 7 brave years of fighting. Jackie will forever be in our memories as a warm and loving wife, mother, sister, grandma, and friend.

Jackie was born in Wadena, MN and graduated from Wadena Highschool in 1970. Jackie met and married the love of her life and best friend, John K. Middleton, from Crosby, MN. They recently celebrated their 31st Wedding Anniversary on May 10th, 2011.

The most vivid testament of Jackie's beauty is clearly reflected in the many wonderful friends she has made over the years. Although she had numerous accomplishments and interests, her greatest joy came from spending time with her husband, four children, six grandchildren, family and friends.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents Don and Julie Schmith of Wadena, MN; Survived by husband, John K. Middleton, of North Oaks, MN; daughters, Courtney and Molly Middleton; sons, Mathew (Sonya) and Marcus (Mandy) Middleton, and six grandchildren: Cassidy, Katie, Jonathan, Tristan, Zachary, and Paxton, all of Tulsa, OK; sisters Vicki Pearson (Daryl) of Wadena, MN and Mary Jo Schmith (Steve) of St. Paul, MN.

A celebration of Jackie's life will be held at St. Mary of the Lake, 4690 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake, MN 55110 on Tuesday, May 17th, 2011. Visitation beginning at 10:00am, followed by Church Service at 11:30am. Additionally, a visitation will be held in Crosby, MN at Koop's Funeral Home, Main Street, from 4-6pm with a rosary at 6pm, May 18th, 2011. Jackie will be laid to rest at Bay Lake Cemetery during a private family service following visitation.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial can be given in Jackie's name to The Karen Wyckoff Rein in Sarcoma Foundation by going to www.reininsarcoma.org; an option to donate to KWRISF will also be available at both services.
