James Paul Glomski age 82 of Deerwood died at his home on November 20, 2016. He was born on November 6, 1934 in Fountain City, WI to Paul and Josephine (Ebertowski) Glomski. He married Beverly Craft on November 25, 1972 in Crosby. Jim was employed with Scorpion in Crosby; Kenner Toys in Cincinnati, OH; Riverwood International in Crosby; Lakeside Industries in Minneapolis. After retiring from Riverwood he was a host for the Woodlands at Grand Casino, Mille Lacs until it closed. Jim loved to hunt, fish, show vintage cars and show his Giant Schnauzer’s.
Jim is survived by his wife Bev; five sons, Tim Glomski of Hopkins, Terry (Cindy) Glomski of Robbindale, Todd Richtman of Golden Valley, Troy (Susan) Glomski of Prescott, WI and Michael Glomski of Deerwood; two daughters, Thomi Glomski of Hopkins and Andi Glomski of Deerwood; two brothers, John “Jack” Glomski of St. Paul and Tom (Marleen) Glomski of Surprise, AZ; and one sister, Barb Ganchow of AZ; nineteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Preceding Jim in death are his parents; one granddaughter, Samantha; and two brothers, Jerry and Larry Glomski.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am on November 26, 2016 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Saturday.
