James Dennis Little

James D. Little, age 84 of Aitkin, formerly of Fifty Lakes, died on August 8, 2019 at his home.  He was born on February 10, 1935 in Gray, PA to John and Helen (MacTavish) Little.  Jim was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam with 12 years of service.  He was a retired Ramsey County Deputy Sheriff with 21 years of service with the Canine Unit. He moved to the Fifty Lakes area after retirement.

Jim is survived by two sons, Robert (Sheryl) Little and Donald (Sandi) Little all of Blaine; three daughters, Beverly Little of Chino Valley, AZ, Margaret (Allen) Watson of Crosby and Cheryl Gunderson of Crosby; eight grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

Preceding Jim in death are his parents and two brothers, Thomas and John Little.

A Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 18, 2019 at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily with full military honors given by the Myrin-James American Legion Post #443, Ironton.
