Jamie Paul Nelson

Jamie Paul Nelson age 57 of Crosby died on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. He was born in Crosby on July 6, 1958 to Robert and Janet (Bjerkness) Nelson.
Jamie graduated from the Osseo High School, trained as an electrician and worked throughout the Minneapolis area for most of his career. Most recently he was employed with Magnum Machining in Deerwood in machine maintenance. Jamie was an avid sportsman who loved to fish and hunt. He was looking forward to spending time at the lake and the campfire at the Nelson family reunion in August. His wonderful wit and smile will be missed by all.
Jamie is survived by his sister, Dina (Bob Anshutz) Nelson of Crystal; brother-in-law, Jerry Glauvitz; three nieces, three nephews, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding Jamie in death are his parents and one sister, Kari Glauvitz.
A prayer service will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Visitation will from 10: 00 am until noon on Saturday.
