Jerold Leroy Wood

Jerold L. Wood, age 80 of Emily died on June 20, 2022 at his home.  He was born in Minneapolis on January 18, 1942 to Stanley and Mercedes (Bienapfl) Wood.  Jerold was a U.S. Air Force veteran.  He was a retired Line Forman with Northwestern Bell Telephone Company.

Jerold is survived by one daughter, Roberta (Jim) Gau of New Ulm; one son, Robert (Darla) Wood of Albertville; one brother, Jim (Dorothy) Wood of Lakeville; two grandchildren, Aaron (Hanna) Wood and Rachel (Erich) Doehling; two great grandchildren, Braxton Wood and Kayden Doehling.

Preceding Jerold in death are his parents; his wife, Donna in 2018 and one sister, Sandy Alama.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2022 with a Sharing of Memories at 3:00 p.m.
