Jimmy Elmer LeBlanc, age 57 of Crosby died at his home on February 9, 2024 due to heart complications. He was born in Crosby on March 14, 1966 to James and Florence (Rono) LeBlanc. Jimmy was the best husband and friend to his wife of 23 years. His daughter Morgan was his pride and joy and she had him wrapped around her finger. He would do anything for his family and friends.
Jimmy moved with his family to Black River Falls, WI at the age of three when the mines closed in Crosby. He graduated from the Black River Falls High School, class of 1984. He then entered the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1986. He attended Staples Vo-tech to become a heavy equipment operator. He worked for Brainerd Redi Mix for 10 years, Trust Joist in Deerwood for 16 years and was currently employed at Mann Lake Ltd. in Hackensack.
Jimmy is survived by his wife Deanna; his daughter, Morgan of Crosby; two sisters, Linda (Kevin) Fitzpatrick of Loreto Mexico, DeAnn (Merle) Monson of Deerwood; Sister-in-law, Audrey LeBlanc of Pine City; and his mother and father-in-law, Dan and Eileen Pelzer of Flensburg, MN and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceding Jimmy in death are his parents and one brother Harold.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 17, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby with full military honors by the Myrin-James American Legion Post #443, Ironton. A visitation will be on Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
