Joan D. Ganseveld age 76 of Deerwood died on November 10, 2015 at Care Free Living in Brainerd. She was born in Minneapolis on December 17, 1938 to Leo and Sybil (Johnson) Olson. Joan married Richard Ganseveld on September 17, 1960 in Minneapolis.
Joan is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard "Dick"; children: Lynn Walter, Jill (Kelly Schmitz) Graff, Jennifer (Wayne Jr.) Seelhammer, David Ganseveld, Julie (Rob) Murphy; grandchildren: Kirby (Emily), Andrew (Stacy), Cody (Brittany), Emma, Wayne III and Wyatt, Chaise, Taylor; great grandchildren: Leo, Nora, Marnie and Brody; brothers: Earl (Anne), Donavon (Darlene) and Thomas (Julia); and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, November28, 2015 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until time of services at the funeral home on Saturday.
