Jodi Ann Calkins

Jodi Ann Calkins, age 61 of Deerwood passed away on October 16, 2024 at Sanford Medical Center in Bemidji.  She was born on October 8, 1963 in Aitkin to Irvin and Sarah (O’Neil) Rood.  Jodi married Richard “Dick” Calkins in Deerwood on April 25, 1987.

Jodi is survived by her husband Dick; two daughters, Jessi Thompson and Sarah Calkins both of Deerwood; one brother, Doug (Darcy) Rood of Deerwood; two sisters, Cindy (Vic) Fields of Walker and Shelly Watson of Aitkin; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Preceding Jodi in death are her parents; one brother, Ken Rood and one sister, Tracy Zontelli.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26 2024 at the Cascade United Methodist Church in Deerwood.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday.  Burial will be at the Bennettville Cemetery in Hazelton Township.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
