John P. Hawkinson

July 25, 1927 — May 7, 2018

John P. Hawkinson age 90 of Deerwood died on May 7, 2018 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. He was born on July 25, 1927 in Starbuck to Dr. John and Mabel (Johnson) Hawkinson. John married Elaine Peterson on June 23, 1951 in Deerwood. He was a retired Potlach employee.

John is survived by his wife, Elaine; one son, John (Tammy) Hawkinson Jr. of Deerwood; two daughters, Mary (Ray) Nelson of Ironton and Karen Hubbard of Dublin, TX; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

No services are being held. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
