John Tauzell Jr

John Tauzell Jr. age 87 of Ironton died on May 2, 2016 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. He was born on August 18, 1928 in Crosby to John and Anna (Smulz) Tauzell Sr. He was a WWII Navy veteran and a member of the Myrin-James American Legion Post #443 of Ironton. John was a retired employee of Inland Steel with 30 years of service. John is survived by his life partner, Bubbles Manske; sons, Robert (Carol) Tauzell of Brainerd, Paul (Carla) Tauzell of Forest Lake, Joseph (Annette) Tauzell of Fayetteville, NC, Richard (Peggy Aarsvold) Tauzell of Maple Grove; James (Laurel) Manske of Taftville, CT; daughters, Joni Tauzell of Superior, Wi, Susan (David) Yunker of Plymouth, Shari Manske of Crosby Debbie Yunker of Ironton; a brother, Fred (Janelle) Tauzell of Fifty Lakes and a sister, Helen (Butch) Stefanick of Deerwood; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceding John in death are his parents; two sons, Michael and Ronald Tauzell; seven sisters, Ann Shisler, Josephine Cameron, Agnes Parker, Molly Fleming, Genevieve Lohoefer, Florence Herman; three brothers, Edward, Richard Tauzell and George Hochovar. Funeral services will be 10:00 am on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby with full military honors by the Myrin-James American Legion Post. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Saturday.
