John Pershing Lysne

John P. “Jack” Lysne Jr., age 79 of Outing died at his home on February 8, 2023.  He was born in Northfield, MN on December 30, 1943 to John and Jane (McGuire) Lysne.   He graduated from the White Bear High School, class of 1961. John has been a millwright with Local 548 for 48 years, retired for 22 of those years in Outing.  He was employed with Lovegreen Industrial Services and subcontracted to work at 3M plants all over the United States during that time.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting and had many trips over the years.  John loved watching the deer and birds at his Lawrence Lake home.

John is survived by his wife of 49 years, Meri; his sons, Jim of Emily, John (Heather) of Forest Lake and Mark of Forest Lake; his daughters, Lori LeVasseur (Bob) of Stacy and Renee Lynse (Doug) of Forest Lake; one brother, James of White Bear Lake; 22 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Preceding John in death are his parents, John and Jane Lysne and one daughter, Lanette.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 29, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Log Cabin in Emily. Please check Meri’s facebook page for more details.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
