Jokay Ringhand

Joanna Kay "JoKay" Ringhand age 69 of Crosby died on September 24, 2011 at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby. She was born on April 9, 1942 in Aitkin to George and Margaret (Peterson) Kellerman. She married Ronald Gust Ringhand on November 28, 1964 in Crosby. She graduated from the Crosby-Ironton High School , class of 1960. JoKay was a retired activities director's aide at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby. Survivors include 1 son, Steve (Roxie Westvig) Ringhand of Aitkin; 1 daughter, Lori (Holger Hetzel) Ringhand of Rastatt, Germany; 4 grandchildren, Zachary and Briley Ringhand, Julia and Henry Hetzel; 1 brother, Scott (Judy) Kellerman of Ely and 1 sister, Karen Harrington of Crosby. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Ronald; 1 brother, Gregory Kellerman and 1 sister, Virginia Kellerman. Funeral services will be 11 am on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby. Burial will be at the Deerwood Scandia Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby from 4 to 8 pm and on Wednesday 1 hour prior to the services at the church.
