Jon Christopherson

Jon Curtis Christopherson, age 41 of Dilworth formerly of Crosby, passed away January 26, 2026.

He was born on May 3, 1984 in Aitkin to Curtis and Darlene (Lueck) Christopherson Jr.

Jon was a resident of Crosby until 2019. He attended CRES and graduated from the Crosby-Ironton High School, class of 2003. During his high school years Jon worked at CI Video in Crosby. He earned the ranking of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America and was a member of Myrin-James American Legion Post 443, Sons of the American Legion. Jon continued his education and earned an associate’s degree from Central Lakes College and then attended the Law Enforcement Program at St. Cloud State University. He worked for 20+ years for Target in Baxter, St. Cloud and Moorhead.

Jon enjoyed traveling. He traveled from NYC to Seattle, Hudson Bay and Alaska. He also went on several trips to the BWCA for camping and canoeing.

Jon is survived by his father, Curtis of Dillworth; Two brothers, Scott (Angela) Figgins of Everett, WA and Mark (Melanie) Christopherson of Fargo, ND; one sister, Debbie (Steve) Bitner of Chippewa Falls, WI; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Preceding Jon in death are his mother, Darlene; and his grandparents, Curtis and Florence Christopherson Sr. and Leslie and Irene Lueck.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Myrin-James American Legion Post in Ironton on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Burial will be at 11: a.m. on Saturday at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
