Joni Lou Giffin

Joni Lou Giffin, 60, of Waite Park, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at the St. Cloud Hospital, surrounded by family.

Joni was born on December 10, 1954 in Crosby, Minnesota to Marion Judd. She attended Crosby-Ironton High School and graduated in 1972. Joni continued her education at St. Cloud State University where she received a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. She married her devoted husband, Barry Giffin, on August 18, 1979.

Joni enjoyed spending time with her family and beamed with pride when she talked about her two daughters. She also loved her three kitties.

Joni is survived by her husband, Barry Giffin of Waite Park; daughters, Shannon Giffin of St. Cloud and Leslie Giffin of Louisville, KY; and many cousins who were like siblings to her.

Joni was preceded in death by her mother.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. If desired memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
