Katherine M. Erickson

Katherine M. Erickson age 83 of Duluth died on July 27, 2014 at her home. She was born on January 4, 1931 in Brainerd to Albert and Catherine (Carswell) Maghan. Katherine graduated from the Crosby-Ironton High School, class of 1949. After high school she attended St. Cloud State University. She married Donald Clinton Erickson on June 1, 1951 in Deerwood. She resided in Little Falls from 1954 until 1998. She was a former member of the Moose Lodge in Little Falls, and a former member of the 1st United Methodist Church in Little Falls. She has been very active with the United Methodist Women. Currently she attended the Forbes United Methodist Church in Proctor.
Katherine is survived by her 3 children; Donna (David) Kuhlmey of Esko, Dale Erickson Sr. (Shelley Williams) and Doreen (Steven) Olson of Annandale; 10 grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband Donald; 1 brother, Earl Albert Maghan and an infant child and an infant grandchild.
Funeral services will be 11:00 on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the Cascade United Methodist Church in Deerwood. Burial will be at the Bay Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Wednesday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
